Recovery and aftercare
Swelling usually peaks on day two or three. Use ice packs, eat soft food, and avoid smoking and straws. If you had a general anaesthetic, an adult must take you home and stay with you for the first 24 hours.

How much does it cost to have all four wisdom teeth out?
You are quoted on costs before any procedure starts. No two patients are the same — an upper wisdom tooth that has come through fully is usually straightforward, and a lower one impacted under bone is a surgical procedure. Your written estimate is itemised per tooth after the assessment.
Can I get all four wisdom teeth out while asleep?
Yes. All four are usually removed in a single appointment under general anaesthetic, and you go home the same day. Position and nerve proximity are established with CBCT imaging beforehand.
How much does wisdom teeth removal cost in Rockhampton?
Before anything is touched, we look at your jaw in three dimensions: the shape of each root, and exactly where the nerve runs underneath. That scan is on the screen next to you. You see what we see. Sometimes it shows the tooth is fine where it is, and we tell you that.
