About these terms

Health information is general, not advice

The information on this website is general and is not a substitute for an examination by a registered dental practitioner. Whether a treatment is suitable for you, and what it involves, can only be decided after an assessment. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks; before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

Emergencies

This website, the booking form and our digital assistant are not monitored as an emergency service. For swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, bleeding that will not stop, or a serious injury, call 000 or go to Rockhampton Hospital emergency department.

Annie, our digital assistant

Annie is an automated assistant. She answers general questions from the information on this website and helps you book. She cannot diagnose, recommend treatment or quote fees, and her answers are not clinical advice. Conversations with Annie are recorded so we can follow up your enquiry and improve the information we provide, as described in our privacy policy.

Booking appointments

When you book online, your details are sent to our team and you choose a time in our practice management system (CareStack). An appointment is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us. We may contact you to confirm details or, if needed, to offer a different time.

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to change or cancel. Any booking deposit or cancellation fee that applies is explained when you book. Fees for treatment are explained before treatment starts.

Fees, health funds and payment plans

Health fund rebates depend on your fund and level of cover. Payment plans are provided by third-party providers and are subject to their approval and terms. Prices shown on this website are a guide only; your fee is set after an assessment and given to you in writing before treatment.

Your privacy

We handle personal and health information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our privacy policy.

The text, images and design of this website belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be copied for commercial use without our written consent. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Liability

We take care to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
