I have been going to A2Z Dental Clinic for 3 years and I have always had a great experience. The team is lovely and they go above and beyond to explain every step of my treatment. I recently had a crown done by Dr. Abraham and I was very impressed with the care and technology they used.My crown was done in one appointment using state-of-the-art technology. They used a computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system to create the crown, which saved me time and reduced the carbon footprint of my treatment. The crown was then sculpted on the spot by a machine, which ensured that it was a perfect fit.I am very happy with the results of my crown and I would highly recommend A2Z Dental Clinic to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

I have been having dental work with Abraham for about 4 years now and I truly would not go anywhere else. I have had 3 implants, the first two needing extensive work! I can honestly say my fear of dentists and white knuckle fever does not exist anymore . I don’t even feel the needle go into my gum and each visit has been pain free! The advice, treatment and state of the art equipment is second to none and I would highly recommend Abraham, Binny and their team to anyone who feels anxious about attending to their dental care.

After 23 years of terrible dentist experiences, I'm very happy to find a clinic that makes me feel comfortable and cared for. Everyone from reception to Dr Shanice has been absolutely incredible. Even though I will be moving 10hrs away in 2025, I will still return to this dentist due to their attention to detail and compassion.

I have to admit, I was anxious about having a twilight sedation surgical procedure on my mouth. The preparation process was very easy with face to face, email and phone conversations.I appreciate the text reminders leading up to the day of my procedure.I was kindly greeted by Dr Zacharia, Dr Jain, the anaesthetist and the reception staff and felt very calm. The procedure went well, I recovered quickly from the anaesthetic and I have been recovering well with great after service care.I would take advantage of this service again!I would recommend an anaesthetic procedure at A2Z dental, for the ease of booking, the speedy recovery, after service care and the convenience.Di 🙂

I cannot recommend A2Z Dental enough!!! As I get very bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist (trauma from childhood), the ladies made my visits very enjoyable and relaxed!! I had a very sore chipped decayed front tooth, something I probably would've had extracted but opted for a root canal instead. That is how relaxed I wasThankyou Dr Shanice, you are amazingThe lovely assistants are so precious!

Frequently Asked Questions
Wisdom teeth can cause various problems, including:
- Impaction: When they don’t erupt fully and remain trapped within the jawbone. This can lead to pain, swelling, infection, and damage to surrounding teeth.
- Crowding: Wisdom teeth can crowd existing teeth, causing misalignment and shifting.
- Gum disease: Impacted wisdom teeth can trap food particles and bacteria, leading to gum inflammation and infection.
- Cyst formation: In rare cases, wisdom teeth can develop cysts that damage surrounding bone and tissue.
Not all wisdom teeth need to be removed. If they erupt fully, are healthy, and don’t cause any problems, they can be monitored. However, dental professionals often recommend removing wisdom teeth if they:
- Are impacted
- Cause pain, swelling, or discomfort
- Damage surrounding teeth
- Contribute to gum disease
- Are at risk of developing cysts
Wisdom teeth are typically easier to remove when they have not fully formed roots, usually between the ages of 16 and 20. Removing them at this age also reduces the risk of complications and promotes faster healing.
After wisdom teeth removal, you can expect some pain, swelling, and discomfort. You may also experience difficulty opening your mouth and chewing. Your dentist will provide specific instructions for managing these symptoms, including:
- Taking pain medication
- Applying ice packs to the area
- Eating soft foods
- Rinsing your mouth with salt water
- Avoiding strenuous activity
Most people recover from wisdom teeth removal within a few days. However, complete healing may take up to a week or two. Your dentist will advise you on returning to your regular activities.
Like any surgical procedure, wisdom teeth removal carries some risks, such as:
- Infection
- Bleeding
- Dry socket (painful condition where the blood clot at the extraction site dissolves)
- Nerve damage
- Sinus problems
However, these risks are rare, and the benefits of removing problematic wisdom teeth outweigh the risks in most cases.
The cost of wisdom teeth removal varies depending on several factors, including:
- The number of teeth being removed
- The complexity of the procedure
- The type of anesthesia used
- The location and experience of the dental professional
It’s important to discuss the cost with your dentist before scheduling the procedure. The cost varies from $320 to $520 per wisdom tooth.
Many dental insurance plans cover some or all of the cost of wisdom teeth removal after you have served the waiting period. However, coverage varies depending on your specific plan. It’s best to contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage details.
Alternative to health insurance are payment plans. Please call our amazing team members who can help you. Another alternative is a dedicated health plan called Your Health Wallet.
Yes, it’s important to discuss your wisdom teeth with your dentist during regular checkups. They can monitor your wisdom teeth development, assess any potential problems, and recommend appropriate treatment options.
By understanding the facts about wisdom teeth and asking informed questions, you can make the best decisions regarding their removal and ensure optimal oral health.
